Alberta Express Entry Draw sends 478 NOI letters in last September
In the latest provincial draws held in September 2019, the province of Alberta Express Entry draw sent a total of 478 NOI letters to the applicants with CRS scores as low as 302. The two draws that were conducted on September 11 and September sent 478 candidates Notification of Interest letters in the federal Express Entry pool.
In the September 11th draw, the lowest ranking candidate receiving NOI’s had 302 points while the second draw in this month issued 139 NOI’s with the lowest ranking candidate with 350 points.
According to the Alberta immigration policy through Alberta Express Entry stream, all applicants have required to demonstrate an interest in immigrating permanently to the province, and while keeping working in an occupation that benefits the province’s economic growth and diversification.
During 2018 this year, the province of Alberta has conducted a total of 24 draws choosing candidates from the federal Express Entry pool.
Out of 6000 federal government nomination allocations available, Alberta has issued 4378 invitations as of September 24, 2019. In addition, 1650 applications submitted by the candidates are waiting for an evaluation by the province.
Alberta Express Entry draw is held continuously in which sends invitations to the selected candidates from the federal Express Entry pool inviting them to apply to the AINP.
Alberta Express Entry Stream Requirements:
- All candidates must hold an active Express Entry profile in the Federal EE pool
- They must have demonstrated an interest in permanently moving to Alberta
- All applicants must be working in a position that helps Alberta to develop economically
- Must have a minimum CRS score of 300 points
The following factors may help you to increase your chances for receiving a notification of interest:
- Having a relative living in the province
- Receiving a job offer from an Albertan employer
- Having work experience in the province
- Having a post-secondary graduation certificate from Canada
Please note that being in an ineligible occupation, or having an Express Entry profile which is going to expire in 3 months of the period may decrease your chances of getting NOI.
The processing time depends on certain factors considered in AINP includes application quality, labor market information, the volume of applications received and as well as the date application was received.
