Express Entry 128 | 500 invitations issued in the last draw
The latest express entry draw saw a drop in CRS cut-off score. A total of 500 Express Entry applicants under the Federal Skilled Trades program received an Invitation to Apply. Applicants who received ITA’s can now can submit their applications for Canadian permanent residence. Express Entry 128 was conducted on October 16, 2019. The minimum CRS cut-off score needed to receive an ITA was 357.

The tie-break applied in the October 16 round was March 4, 2019, at 20:36:42 UTC. This indicates that all applicants having a score of more than 357 got an ITA, as did those having a score of 357 whose Express Entry profiles were created prior to the tie-break date and time.
The Express Entry system controls the pool of applicants for Canada’s three Federal High Skilled economic immigration categories — the Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class, and Canadian Experience Class.
Qualified applicants are listed in the pool based on their CRS score, which is defined by factors such as age, educational background, experienced work expertise and ability in English or French, amongst additional factors.
A group of the highest-ranked applicants is invited to apply by periodic rounds from the Express Entry pool, which are normally take place every two weeks.
