Manitoba Sends 193 Invitations Through Its Skilled Worker Streams
As of October 15 this year, the province of Manitoba has sent a total of 6574 Letters of Advice to apply through its skilled worker streams. In the latest draw, which took place on October 10, 194 immigration applicants were invited to submit an application for a provincial nomination to become Canadian permanent residents.
Invited candidates had their profiles registered under Manitoba’s Skilled Worker in Manitoba, Skilled Worker Overseas or International Education Stream.
Immigration applicants have nov received a total of 6574 Letters of Advice to Apply in 2019 through the following streams.
24 candidates, out of 193 – who received Letters of Advice to Apply, had a valid profile in Canada’s federal Express Entry system.
When candidates register a profile for the Express Entry system, they are awarded a score determined by system according to certain factors, such as age, work experience, education, and language proficiency. The score is defined by the system called the Comprehensive Ranking System.
Later, through the regular draws, the highest-ranking candidates are invited to apply for Canadian permanent residency.
Other applicants applying through Provincial Nominee Programs, immigration programs designed by Canadian provinces, are awarded an additional 600 CRS points. The additional score effectively guarantees their receiving an ITA during the subsequent rounds.
If you want to become eligible for a provincial nomination certificate from the province of Manitoba, you will need to hold a qualified work training in one of the province’s in-demand occupations. Candidates are also required to submit a separate expression of interest with the MPNP.
Manitoba Skilled Worker Streams
Skilled Worker in Manitoba Category is a great way for candidates to become Canadian permanent residents. This stream is a pathway for qualified temporary international workers in Manitoba and as well as international graduates of the province’s post-secondary educational institutions.
To become eligible for the stream, candidates need to be working in the province and as well as holding a full-time permanent job offer from Canadian employer residing in Manitoba.
Skilled Worker Overseas
Candidates selected through this stream receive the invitations directly through a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. In addition, applicants applying through the Skilled Worker Overseas stream are also ranked according to Manitoba’s EOI scoring system.
In order to become eligible, candidates are required to have a score of 718 for an LAA through the Skilled Worker Overseas stream in the latest round.
International Education Stream
If you are Manitoba graduate and have certain in-demand capabilities, then you have a chance of receiving an invitation under the International Education Stream.
International Education Stream stream has 3 sub-categories: Career Employment Pathway, Graduate Internship Pathway, and the Student Entrepreneur Pathway.
