OINP Employer Job Offer Foreign Workers Stream is started
OINP has now officially declared its Foreign Workers Stream of the Employer Job Offer category open and is ready to accept applications from candidates. The stream aims for foreign nationals who have a valid job offer in Ontario and issues provincial nomination for immigration and Canadian permanent residency.
Apply through OINP e-filling portal
Qualified applicants can now submit their application through OINP’s e-filling portal. Successful candidates will be issued work permit support letter which authorizes them to make an application for a Canadian work permit. At the same time, their permanent residence applications will be processed.
There are a number of benefits of the Foreign Workers Stream for eligible candidates. One is that, as a candidate, you do not need to have a language proficiency minimums and or educational requirement. In addition, there is no requirement to have previously been connected with the province.
If you become successful to receive a nomination by Ontario, then you will be provided the go-ahead to make your paper-based application for permanent residence with Canada’s federal government.
Who is eligible for OINP employer job offer stream?
Having a valid job offer from an Ontario employer is the first step for a foreign national to become eligible for the stream. In addition, the job offer must demonstrate that it delivers above the median wave level salary for that occupation in the province or it is a full-time position.
The occupation must be defined as NOC Skill level 0, A or B classified by National Occupational Classification.
Candidates must demonstrate that they currently hold a minimum of 2 years of full-time work experience obtained during the last 5 years. Also, the work experience must be within the same NOC classification as the job offer.

However, please note that, if you have a valid license, certificate or any other form of allowance that you can practice the profession listed on your job offer, then you do not need to meet the requirement mentioned above.
