Saskatchewan invites entrepreneur candidates
Saskatchewan sends 39 ITA’s to entrepreneur candidates
In a new draw held on March 7, Saskatchewan invited the immigrant entrepreneur applicants to apply for an approval letter. Invited applicants scores range from 120 to 140 under the category’s points assessment grid.
How to apply to the SINP as an entrepreneur?
Accordingly, if you are an eligible applicant and wish to establish or acquire an eligible business in the province, you need to take the following steps. Generally, interested immigrant entrepreneurs need to submit an EOI (Expression of Interest) to the Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program (SINP).
Based on the category’s points assessment grid EOI screens the applicant’s eligibility and awards applicant a ranking score. Applicants with high score receive an invitation to apply for an approval letter. After confirmation of their approval letter candidates apply to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada for a Temporary Work Permit.
Later they can also apply to the SINP for a provincial nomination to become a permanent resident. However, initially, they need to meet the terms of their Business Performance Agreement with the SINP for at least six months.
