Saskatchewan invites Express Entry candidates
Saskatchewan targets Express Entry candidates
The applicants are registered under Saskatchewan’s International Skilled Worker Express Entry sub-category. This enables the province to nominate candidates for Canadian permanent residence.
Provincial nomination enables fast-tracked immigration
Provincial nomination by the provinces awards candidates with an additional 600 points. This allows candidates to additionally increase their Express Entry ranking score. Consequently, they can effectively receive an invitation to apply for Canadian permanent residence.
Express Entry applicants need to register a separate Express of Interest with the SINP for Saskatchewan to consider them for a provincial nomination.
Candidates need to fill in information regarding their education, work experience, language proficiency and etc. while creating their profile for EOI. After creation of the profile, candidates get a score. Furthermore, to be in the pool of candidates the applicants need to have 60 or more points. Later, in regular draws, a set of candidates with the highest score receives invitations to apply for a permanent residence.
The Provincial Nominee Program allows you to increase your score and gives you a chance to become a permanent resident of Canada.
